Desert Discovery Teams

Each team covers a different aspect of the ecosystem

Desert Discovery is able to collect data efficiently by breaking into teams of people who share either expertise or interest. Each team focuses on one part of the ecosystem and is lead by someone who has experience in the methods of data collection required. The team leader organises the permits, plans the activities required, keeps track of all the data and collates it. All of the data collected is made available to the public via the appropriate institutions (like herbariums and museums) and is published in the Desert Discovery report for each project.
